PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE ("Terms") CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE MENUCAL IOS APPLICATION (THE "App"). BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MENUCAL LLC ("MENUCAL," "we," or "us") grants you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the App on any Apple‑branded device that you own or control as permitted by Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
The App offers weekly and yearly auto‑renewable subscription plans ("Subscriptions") that unlock premium features such as unlimited scans and full nutritional details.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto‑renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown in the App.
You can manage or cancel your Subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a Subscription, where applicable.

MENUCAL provides AI‑generated nutritional estimates based on textual descriptions of menu items. Such information is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or dietary advice. Nutritional values are approximations and may differ from actual values. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any dietary changes.
The App, including all content and software, is owned by MENUCAL or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. MENUCAL and the MENUCAL logo are trademarks of MENUCAL LLC.
The App may link to or use third‑party services (e.g., Perplexity API). MENUCAL is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such services.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us. Upon termination, the license granted to you will automatically end.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON‑INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENUCAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF MENUCAL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MENUCAL, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in‑app notice or email (if provided). Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are between you and MENUCAL, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms.
By using MENUCAL, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
